Norfolk and Suffolk Healthcare require experienced, mental health nurses to provide outstanding care services to clients in nursing homes and low to high secure unit Hospitals within Ipswich and surrounding areas. There are ongoing regular shifts to suit your preference.
Duties as a Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Direct or supervise less experienced care staff to deliver quality care.
- Provide person-centred care to service users in accordance with their care plans.
- Carry out risk assessments and take steps to reduce the risks
- Identify service user’s care plan needs and liaise with other professionals to implement them.
- Accurately administer, store or dispose medications in accordance with policy.
- Accurately record details for administered medication.
- Monitor and record patient’s activities, vital signs, diet and care.
- Build therapeutic relationships with service users.
- Promote dignity, equality, diversity and human rights.
Minimum Requirements:
- An individual with a positive, compassionate, attentive and patient nature.
- Valid right to work in the UK.
- Effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
